Westminster Bridge closed as ‘tried homicide’ sees police swarm space

Police officers have swarmed to Westminster Bridge and shut it down due to an ’emergency incident’ after a man was said to be stabbed in front off horrified tourists.

Three people have been arrested on suspicion off the stabbing and then man who was injured is in hospital fighting for his life. The Metropolitan Police told the Mirror that they were called at 10:43am on Sunday, November 24, to reports of a fight on Westminster Bridge. The force added: “Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found a man suffering from a stab injury.

“He has been taken to hospital in a critical condition. Three people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and one person has been arrested on suspicion of affray. Two of them been taken to hospital for minor facial injuries. A road closure is in place. Enquiries continue.”
