Ruben Amorim claims Man Utd improved upon 4 issues with Bodo/Glimt comeback win
Ruben Amorim hailed Manchester United’s significant progress in four crucial aspects during their emphatic win over Bodo/Glimt.
United’s new head coach witnessed a stellar performance at Old Trafford marked by Alejandro Garnacho’s lightning-fast opener and Rasmus Hojlund’s sublime brace, which guided the Red Devils from being 2-1 down to keeping their European campaign unblemished after five matches.
Although they were held to a draw by Ipswich, Amorim was buoyed by improvements. “I know this is a different team, a different competition, but we improved with the ball, we controlled more the tempo with the ball. We pushed the team a little bit more higher, we created more chances.

We should kill the game before the end of the game, we suffer two transitions, I think we need to improve on that because was like runs, physical thing, one against one, you have to improve on that. But I like some things the team did today.”
The gaffer gave credit to Bodo/Glimt’s strategic unity and pace, which made the match challenging, although notably adding, “They (Bodo/Glimt) are very well [coached] team, they know each other very well, you can understand that. If you see the goals, was one touch.
“They have the time we don’t have working together.”
He rounded off by praising his squad’s command of the game saying, “They have a lot of speed and power when the transitions you feel it in the game, they had a lot of power and was a tough game in that aspect. But we controlled very well the tempo of the ball.
“We kept the ball so long that we control and was able to manage that,” reports the Manchester Evening News.
