Ferne McCann’s fiance Lorri Haines insists all is nicely after claims main row led to them splitting… however TOWIE star admits they’ve been arguing

Mystery has surrounded Ferne McCann‘s romance with Lorri Haines after Lorri claimed the pair are ‘in a committed relationship’. 

On Tuesday morning, it was claimed the couple had ‘one big blow out over something and nothing so Ferne decided to take some time out.’

The couple – who got engaged in 2022 – share daughter Finty, 16 months.  

Yet Ferne and Lorri refuted the rumours on Instagram Stories, with Ferne insisting they’re ‘still very much together’ but confessed they have been arguing. 

Speaking from Dancing On Ice rehearsals, Ferne revealed: ‘We haven’t [split]. I am just as miffed. We’re still very much together, living together. We’re even back in the same bed. 

‘What we are is very tired. The only reason why we’d be arguing is because bless Finty, she’s been waking up at 4am and I’m one tired mama. So if anyone has any tips on that, it would be very much appreciated. 

Ferne – who has not been seen wearing her engagement ring for weeks – concluded: ‘But no, to anyone who has messaged to see if we’re ok and if we have. I really appreciate your messages but we are, we’re still very much together.’

Meanwhile Lorri said in his video: ‘It’s news to me and to us. I just called her and said “have we broke up?” she was like “what you talking about?” 

‘So, not sure where the story’s come from but I’m here to tell you, we are absolutely fine.’

He also insisted the pair have been sharing a bed for about six months. 

Lorri concluded: ‘Life is very good for us both, we’re in a committed relationship.’ 

Earlier in the day it was claimed Fearne had split from Lorri just 16 months after welcoming their baby daughter. 

As well as Finty, the former TOWIE star, 34, and her businessman partner, 33, share daughter Sunday, six, from Ferne’s previous relationship. 

Speaking to The Mirror, a source said: ‘Ferne and Lorri have always had a tempestuous relationship but there was one big blow out over something and nothing so she has decided to take some time out.

‘Pals are saying it is permanent but who knows as these two are so up and down. Lorri has been effectively wiped from her Instagram and Ferne is now taking some time for herself and her two kids.’

The last picture of Lori on Ferne’s Instagram was in October, while Lori last posted Ferne in September. 

Ferne announced her engagement to Lorri in July 2022, just seven months after going public with the property developer. 

It followed a split from DJ Jake Padgett the year prior after they spent the second lockdown together. 

Before that she was in a relationship with jailed acid attacker Arthur Collins, whom she shares her daughter Sunday, four, with. 

Arthur is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence at Woodhill Prison, Milton Keynes, after carrying out an acid attack at a London nightclub in 2017 which saw sixteen people suffer chemical burn injuries and three people left temporarily blinded.  

Ferne previously revealed she wanted to find her happily ever after but falls for men too easily. 

She shared: ‘I am such a sucker for love – I love love so much, and of course I want to find my happy ever after.’

In September, Ferne confessed that she and Lorri slept in separate bedrooms – after admitting they previously sought help from an intimacy coach.

Ferne has praised Lorri in the past for being a hands-on father, sharing that he even relishes the times he has the children to himself.

But, when Finty was born, Lorri reacted badly to the lack of sleep, leading Ferne to make the decision for them to have separate rooms.

She told Heat magazine: ‘At first, it was more just to have our own space to get some really good quality sleep.

‘When Finty was a newborn, she wasn’t the best sleeper. Lorri is not very good when he doesn’t get much sleep, so I was like: “You’re grouchy and this isn’t pleasant, so let’s have separate bedrooms.”

‘But, it’s all the rage now, babes! It just works for us. Now, we get excited on holidays and special occasions when we do share a bed.’ 

In a previous interview with Heat, Ferne had shared how her and Lorri’s session with an intimacy coach had been ‘really insightful’. 

She said they did a lot of non-sexual activities that were just focused on helping them improve their communication as well as other skills that can be transferred to the bedroom – even if they’re not sharing one.

Ferne insisted that most parents would agree that once a baby is born sex is out the window as it is no longer a priority. 

She also cited her pets, business, and television show as reasons why she struggles to find the time and energy to be intimate with Lorri.

However, one of those things is now off the table.

Earlier this year Ferne took to Instagram to announce that, after seven years, her ITVBe reality show Ferne McCann: My Family & Me would not be returning for a fourteenth series.

Her post read: ‘After an incredible 13 series I have made the very difficult decision that this series of @fernemyfamandme will be my last.

‘Where do I begin? Firstly by saying a huge, huge thank you to each one of you that have watched my show and been on our family journey with us.

‘This show has been such an incredible part of my life for the last seven years and what a ride it has been filming from being pregnant with Sunday to now. Your support and loyalty to me and my family has, at times, lifted me more than you will ever know. Thank you.

‘From the day I started filming I have poured my heart and soul in to the series. I genuinely feel like I’ve laughed, cried, loved and lived with you, sharing all the ups and downs.

‘This decision hasnt been an easy one but it feels like now is the right time for a change. I made this decision with my children (especially Sunday who has been on this full journey with me) in mind. 

‘They are my absolute priority and Sunday is now at an age where she is very much her own little person and I want her to go out there and take her own path.

‘@potatoitv and @itvxofficial @itv team are incredible and over the years have become part of the family too thankyou so much for this wonderful opportunity. it’s not lost on me how incredible this has been and I will cherish these memories and moments that I have been lucky enough to have captured forever.

Prior to Lorri, Ferne was in a six-month relationship with the model Jack Padgett in 2021.

Before him, she dated Albie Gibbs – a relationship that was largely kept out of the public eye – but they split during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ferne was also in a relationship with jailed acid attacker Arthur Collins who is the father of her daughter Sunday.

He is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after being found guilty of carrying out the brutal acid attack in 2017, leaving 16 people with serious injuries.
