British teenager, 18, is jailed for one 12 months in hell gap UAE jail after having intercourse with lady, 17, on vacation

A British teenager has been jailed for one year in Dubai for having sex with a girl a 17-year-old girl during a holiday romance.

Marcus Fakana was given the shattering news by his lawyer following a brief trial.

The 18-year-old was charged with underage sex with the British girl even though she was only a few months younger.

A family source said they are ‘devastated’ by the verdict.

Marcus Fakana had a weeklong holiday romance with the girl, also British, but was arrested and detained after her mother complained to the Dubai police
