Vernon Kay‘s daughter Phoebe looked the spitting image of her famous mother Tess Daly as she appeared alongside her father in a new EE Christmas commercial.
In the fun ad the Radio 2 DJ, 50, was put in charge of holiday preparations but was forced to enlist to tiny pet pooch Mickey to find the Christmas decorations.
And Phoebe, 20, also mucks in when when her hapless father seemingly forgets to order a turkey for the festivities.
The family feature in a new video highlighting their home tech makeover to ensure there’s no disappointment for the big day with family members fighting to get connected to their favourite devices.
Former All Star Family Fortunes host Vernon, who also shares daughter Amber, 15, with the Strictly star, 55, revealed he would be ‘having the family round’ for Christmas and was determined to maintain his status as ‘the ultimate host’.

He’s teamed up with EE who have installed their most powerful broadband system WiFi 7 to get his home ready for the festivities.
Their Smart Hub Pro ensures a faster connection to more devices throughout the home.
Vernon said: ‘It means, inadvertently, that everything you love just works better which means I can maintain my status as the ultimate host.’
A new video highlights how things don’t initially go according to plan after Vernon, complete with Christmas jumper, forgot where he put the decorations.
Thankfully Mickey comes to the rescue helping guide Vernon to the hidden tinsel and baubles with the aid of a wifi connected ‘dog cam’.
Phoebe is on hand remotely to remind him of vital tasks he needs to fulfil, like ordering the Christmas presents – and a last minute online search for the forgotten turkey.
With their guidance Vernon even manages to fit in time to practise his video gaming as he insists: ‘There is no way the cousins are beating me this year.’
By the end it appeared all is calm and Vernon had successfully completed plans for a Christmas celebration with his famous family.

Vernon said: ‘Christmas hosting is no small feat, but with EE’s upgrade, the stress melts away and makes everything just work better.
‘It’s all about staying connected – to family, to fun, and to the things that make Christmas magical.’
It comes as research by the firm reveals more than a third of Brits (37 per cent) feel daunted by the prospect of hosting during the holidays.
Nearly one in five (19 per cent) said they have cut short family visits due to inadequate wi-fi while another 21 per cent of adults even confessed to using wi-fi strength as a deciding factor when choosing which relative’s home to visit for Christmas.
Demand for superfast broadband at Christmas has never been higher, with British households set to unwrap an average of three connected devices this year.
The study found a quarter (25 per cent) of Brits said they’ve experienced ‘broadband envy’ at a relative’s home after seeing their faster wi-fi in action.
Nearly a third (31 per cent) will spend up to two hours on Christmas Day testing out hi-tech presents such as mobile phones, gaming consoles, or tablets.
And 44 per cent of Brits plan to stream a Christmas blockbuster movie or box set series on Christmas day as they look to get their festive fix.
But the biggest surge over the festive season will come on Boxing Day when wi-fi network activity is expected to peak in millions of homes.
It’s scheduled to come due to a combination of software downloads for new consoles and handsets, festive football streaming and Brits spending extra time on their new electronic gifts.
Householders will also be relying on their devices to help their own Christmas preparations run smoothly with 29 per cent of Brits saying they depend on online recipes on Christmas day – with poor connectivity cited as a recipe for disaster.
Meanwhile 30 per cent of Brits build a family Christmas playlist together designed to keep the whole household happy.
Another 23 per cent admitted they rely on online video guides to learn how to wrap presents properly.
Luciano Oliveira, director of Home and TV at EE said: ‘Countless families across the country will be facing the same hosting challenges as Vernon over the coming weeks.
‘Whether it’s streaming Xmas movies and the latest blockbuster box sets, setting up new connected device gifts or even following festive recipes online – WiFi 7 from EE makes everything you love work better.’
Phoebe looked sensational in the advert in a black long sleeved fitted jumper which she paired with blue denim jeans.
Meanwhile Vernon rocked a graphic grey winter sweater
The pair have teamed up with EE by upgrading their WiFi at home to make sure they have a stress free time while hosting Christmas for their loved ones
‘Sometimes I think that the old silver spoon and life on a plate in front of them… I think that’s quite contradictory to how you want them to be.
‘Tess and I grew up in hearty, wholesome Northern families and that’s a huge trait that helped us in our personal development and I think that’s really important.’
He added: ‘I don’t disagree with anyone that does that by helping their kids, which is great, but I just think sometimes for us, personally, it’s whatever they’re into, they can go and discover themselves.’
Since turning 18 Phoebe has started creeping into the public eye, making her red carpet debut alongside her father at the John Wick Chapter 4 premiere last March.
While TV presenter Vernon was on hand to support his daughter, he previously revealed that he and Tess insist his children don’t live off their fame and must form ‘their own careers.’
It’s an important factor for the celebrity duo, who both fell into fame after being scouted as models and then turning to television.
Speaking to MailOnline in 2022, Vernon said he and his wife believe it’s important for their offspring ‘to find themselves’ and not be given their ‘life on a plate’, crediting the pair’s Northern backgrounds for shaping their parenting beliefs.
Vernon said: ‘We let them be independent when it comes to them and their futures because it’s important that you allow them to find themselves, which is character building and personality development.

Tess is of the same thinking as her husband, telling MailOnline in 2021 how she kept her children ‘grounded’ against the trappings of fame and raises them with ‘morals, respect and a work ethic.’
The Strictly host revealed that Phoebe didn’t realise her mum worked on TV until she was seven years old as she and Vernon worked to keep their family shielded from the limelight.
Tess admitted ‘it has never been about us at home’ when talking about the importance of keeping her career separate from motherhood.
She explained: ‘They are so grounded they know the value of everything. It is everything for us.
‘They have good morals and respect others. It’s everything. They build their self-esteem via you. It is so important to us to keep them grounded.
‘It has never been about us at home – it is about them and their lives and us at a family. Phoebe didn’t even know I worked on TV until she was about seven!
She had no idea until she saw me once and said “there’s my mum!” She just thought I went to work on a Saturday because to them it is work.
‘Of course they thoroughly enjoy it and they loved watching their dad on I’m A Celeb, they love Strictly – but it is part of what we do and it doesn’t define who we are to them. We’re just mum and dad.
‘It’s really important for me that I don’t take away my children’s work ethic and their chance to find their own role in life by overshadowing them with your own.
‘It is important they learn to find their own way. It is not about us and ego has no place in our house. They are good, hard-working girls and we’re really proud of them. They’re growing up!’
