Joe Swash shares replace on EastEnders return after he made a shock cameo forward of the cleaning soap’s fortieth anniversary
Joe Swash has revealed he would consider an EastEnders return if he was asked – but has to put his family first.
The actor-turned-presenter, 42, played the role of Mickey Miller from 2003 until 2008 and made a one-off appearance last week but has admitted that a full-time comeback would depend on his family.
Joe is married to Loose Women star Stacey Solomon and has Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, 23 months, with her.
He also has son Harry with Emma Sophocleous, whilst Stacey, 34, has Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships.
He told The Mirror: ‘If they wanted me to go back in, that would be something I would think about.
‘I’ve got a big family so it would have to suit me and the family ultimately. Soaps are quite full on and I have quite a young family.’

‘As much as I was in it, I’m a fan of the show as well. 40 years they’ve done really well. It’s a real milestone.’
In his recent cameo in Albert Square, Joe appeared completely naked with only a Christmas present to hide his modesty.
But after seeing himself on screen, he vowed to get ‘back in shape’ because he has ‘never had such a dad bod’ until now.
