Ex-Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has showed off a talent that fans didn’t know he had.

The Anfield icon has taken a rest from work following his departure from Merseyside, after his announcement that he had “run out of energy”. And Klopp has now been recharging those batteries on some Alpine slopes in the run up to Christmas.

Klopp shared a picture of him in full ski gear in the mountains. He stunted an all-orange ski suit with some classic reflective goggles as a video showed him showcasing his skills with a degree of expertise.

The German posted the updates on Instagram, adding the caption: “Incredible views and an amazing time.”

Klopp has taken his current freedom to spend time with family and friends – away from the stresses and pressures of football. This included relaxing in a five-star hotel in Majorca with wife Ulla whilst his £3.4million villa on the Spanish island was being renovated.

Klopp told the podcast Willipedia via Bild: “I’ve dreamed of having a house in the south all my life. I like the weather, the climate, I like the people,” when asked about life on idyllic Spanish island.

“There are lots of things I like here and also people I already know. It’s not like I’m looking for new friends. I already have friends for life, and if some of them are here too, that’s cool.”

In October, it was revealed that Klopp would be joining Red Bull as their new Head of Global Soccer. He won’t officially start his new job until January 1st 2025.

The role entails the experienced manager acting more as an advisor to Red Bull’s football clubs. This includes RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg, New York Red Bulls and two clubs in Brazil. They recently purchased a Japanese club too.
