Nicole Kidman reportedly became embroiled in a row with Qantas staff on a recent flight from Australia.

The Hollywood actress, 57, allegedly got into a disagreement in Qantas’ first-class lounge at Sydney International Airport for an unexpected reason.

According to gossip newsletter Popb*tch, observers saw Nicole becoming annoyed with staff because she wasn’t allowed to take her own fruit on the international flight.

Fruit is generally allowed on international flights as long as it is in line with the customs regulations of the destination country.

However in Australia, fresh fruit is generally prohibited from being brought on flights due to strict biosecurity measures to prevent the spread of pests and diseases.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Qantas and Nicole’s representatives for comment.

It comes after Nicole caused a stir with a now-viral interaction she had with a reporter at the Babygirl premiere.

Her response was labelled as ‘rude’ as she left fans divided with the way she spoke to the reporter from Pop Crave.

During the Q&A, Nicole asked the reporter to repeat their outlet’s name before shrugging, laughing and glancing off-camera, suggesting that the name didn’t ring a bell.

While some fans found her reaction refreshingly unbothered, praising her ‘offline queen’ energy, others were less impressed and called it dismissive.

One follower admitted: ‘I would’ve been so embarrassed if I was Pop Crave and Nicole Kidman laughed at me like that,’ while another bluntly declared, ‘She’s rude.’

Another chimed in, ‘Kinda b**chy by Nicole to me but oh well,’ while someone else added: ‘Sorry but this is fkin awful behaviour.’

Despite the backlash, some fans found the moment delightfully on-brand for the star as they praised her as a ‘legend’.

One amused fan quipped: ‘HAHAHAHAA omfg she’s a legend,’ while another said: ‘She’s so Queenie!’

Nicole is currently busy promoting her latest age-gap romcom Babygirl, which is slated for a Christmas Day release.

She recently spilled details on the intense sex scenes she filmed with her on-screen love interest Harris Dickinson, 28.

She told Woman’s Day how she and Harris prepared for the ‘delicate and intimate and very deep’ moments.

Of their work with an intimacy coordinator, she shared: ‘There was still a flow to it, which allowed space to move and change and work.

‘It wasn’t confined, and I love to work that way.’

She also recently revealed to The Sun that she had to take a break during filming because of the intense nature of filming the intimate scenes.

‘There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration. It’s like, ”Don’t touch me”,’ she shared.

‘There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ”I don’t want to orgasm any more. Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life! I’m over it”.’

The A24 erotic thriller also features Antonio Banderas, Esther Rose McGregor, Sophie Wilde, and Izabel Mar.
