Jingle smells! Millions of Britons haven’t any plans to bathe between Christmas and New Year… with many admitting they will not change their PANTS for greater than a day

The weather outside will be frightful – and so too is the odour of Brits, as a quarter have unashamedly confessed they will not wash for three days during the holidays.

Tis the season of not showering as well as gift-giving between Christmas and New Years, a new study unearthed by the Daily Star has revealed.

The grisly survey found that half of Britons will wear their Christmas underwear for several days – and will even wear their pyjamas for more than a day.

However, the sluggish seasonal behaviour only seems to get worse, as the majority say they won’t be slaving away in the kitchen after December 25, but merely surviving on the scraps of their Christmas feast.

Some even said they won’t even go to the effort of putting their food on a plate, and will grab-and-go as feast lying in the lounge and watching the TV all-day.

For many the festive period serves as some much-needed quality time with family but around 20 per cent have said socialisation will be a no go for at least a few days.

The study, which surveyed 2,001 Brits and was carried out by Sky and NOW TV, discovered than many will instead be spending five hours in front of the television catching up on their favourite shows.

Over 50 per cent of Brits will begin a fresh new TV show with just under half completing a season in one day – whilst being glued to the fabric of their sofas.

Across the British Isles, 1.8billion hours of entertainment shows will be consumed in just under a week.

Top picks among those surveyed included, Harry Potter, Game Of Thrones, and Gangs of London, according to the Daily Star

Jamie Morris, executive director of content strategy and performance at Sky, urged people to indulge in their slobbery conduct this festive period.

‘After a long year it’s clear to see that Brits are fully-embracing the no-man’s land that is Twixmas,’ he told the publication.

‘Thankfully there’s some great telly to keep them company if they don’t fancy leaving the house, or even the sofa.’

He concluded by encouraging Brits to dig in to their favourite boxsets or start a new show as they relax in their Christmas-themed sleepwear.
