Readers are challenged with spotting five presents cleverly tucked away in various parts of a living room decorated with seasonal items. 

But beware: the puzzle is more difficult than it looks, as one in three participants can only find four of the five gifts before giving up. 

The image contains a cosy scene of a contemporary living room complete with a fireplace, an armchair, a pair of slippers and a pup snoozing comfortably in its bed. 

As snow sprinkles onto the ground outside the windows, the room’s warm atmosphere is accentuated by the addition of traditional festive decorations, such as a Christmas tree, stockings, candles and a wreath.

Adding a layer of difficulty to the puzzle are the various patterns, shades and textures – if you wish to find the presents quicker, you may want to analyse these features too.

The fifth present, wrapped in green paper and finished with a red bow, is cleverly camouflaged on the seat of the green armchair, behind red and green cushions.

According to creators,  a misspelled ‘Excellent’ lies among the rows of identical words – and you’ll need good attention to detail and a sharp eye to find it before the timer ends. 

Challengers are tasked with locating the misspelled word in less than 35 seconds – can you beat the clock and prove you have excellent vision? While it may seem like a relatively easy task, the puzzle is designed to catch you off guard.
