First image of ‘liked eternally’ mum, 43, shot lifeless at pub in Valentine’s Day horror

Lisa Smith, 43, was shot dead at a pub on Friday by a gunman who reportedly ‘jumped off the QE2 bridge’. Police were today scouring the River Thames for trace of him

Tributes have been paid to a mum-of-two shot dead at a pub on Valentine’s Day – as she is pictured for the first time.

Lisa Smith, 43, was gunned down in the car park outside The Three Horseshoes, just minutes after she had enjoyed a drink in the picturesque village pub in the Kent countryside.

The gunman has been named locally as Edvard Stockings, The Sun reports. Police have not confirmed his identity, but said the suspect was known to Lisa.

Her grieving son Teejay Smith, 19, paid tribute to Lisa on social media, writing: “My dear old mum. Never be another to walk in her shoes. The best.”

Teejay posted a number of snaps Lisa, including one of her dolled up in a sparkly dress at a glitzy dinner event.

Donna Kidd posted a video of floral tributes left at the scene on social media with the caption: “Taken way too soon, our lady Lisa girl loved forever and always never be another Lisa. Girl love from all your girls.”

Cops were called to the pub just after 7pm on Friday evening. Lisa was pronounced dead at the scene, sparking a murder probe and major manhunt.

Landlady Michelle Thomas said Lisa had been at the pub drinking that evening. A shocking video captured the moment two loud bangs could be heard outside the pub. Michelle said she thought they were fireworks at first.

There were around 50 people in the pub at the time.

Kent Police said a car and firearm were found at the Queen Elizabeth II bridge in Dartford on Saturday, around 14 miles from the pub in Knockholt, near Sevenoaks.

Officers were still scouring the River Thames on Monday after it was reported a man was spotted on the wrong side of the barrier.

A spokesman said on Monday: “Whilst the victim has not yet been formally identified, she has been named as Lisa Smith, aged 43, and who was from Slough.

“A car and firearm linked to the suspect were later recovered next to the Dartford Crossing.

“The suspect, a man known to the victim, is reported to have been seen on the wrong side of a bridge barrier and officers are focusing efforts on searches to recover him from the water. “
