Amazon down as lots of of buyers say checkout downside occurs ‘but once more’

Amazon has reportedly gone down temporarily, with users of the online shopping website facing “unacceptable” issues while trying to check out. Complaints began at around 7am today (Monday, April 1).
Website status tracker Downdetector logged roughly 500 complaints indicating disruption to Amazon’s service, with a fresh wave recorded at 12:06pm. Checkout woes dominate the disruption reports, with 86% of claims linked to payment confirmation troubles during the final stages of purchasing.
