Creep masseur who sexually assaulted 5 ladies at luxurious Wokingham spa learns his destiny

A masseur who admitted to sexually assaulting five women while working at a luxury spa has avoided jail.

Ibrahim Ali, 36, of Percy Place, Datchet, pleaded guilty to five counts of sexual assault by touching at Reading Magistrates’ Court in September. He carried out the sick attacks when he was working as a masseur at Nirvana Spa in Wokingham, Berkshire. Ali was released on conditional bail and was hauled before Reading Crown Court today to receive his sentence. Ali was sentenced to two years concurrent on each charge, suspended for two years.

Ali was ordered to do 150 hours unpaid community service and must also £500 compensation to each of the five women that the charges relate to, plus £500 to two other women. A sexual harm prevention order was also put in place for 10 years.

Thames Valley Police said Ali sexually assaulted five women who had booked in for back and foot massages between November and December 2024. He was charged with four counts of sexual assault in July 2025 and a further count in September.

The judge told Ali that he had abused his position of trust, ITV reports. “This man is a danger to women when alone with them,” they said.

Nirvana Spa has an annual membership of more than £2,200 and describes itself as “the UK’s leading pure water retreat” on its website.

In a statement, the spa said: “We are aware of the outcome of a police investigation involving a massage therapist who previously worked at Nirvana Spa. First and foremost, we want to express our heartfelt empathy to anyone affected by this matter.

“Matters of this nature are taken extremely seriously by Nirvana Spa and as such there was an immediate internal investigation.

“We can confirm that the individual in question is no longer employed by Nirvana Spa, and we have fully cooperated with the police throughout their investigation.

“We cannot comment further on an ongoing court case but the safety, trust and well-being of our customers have always been, and will always remain, our highest priority.”

Investigating officer PC Chloe Palmer previously said: “This guilty plea represents a positive outcome for the victims in this case and reflects the dedication that went into this investigation.

“Bringing an offender like Ibrahim Ali to justice demonstrates our ongoing commitment to tackling violence against women. I am pleased we were able to secure this outcome and provide some sense of closure for the victims.”
