However, Gigi claimed there’s also an emotional toll for her around this time of year too. She said: “Something people might not realise is that Christmas can be emotionally heavy for sex workers too.
“We’re holding space for a lot of clients who are lonely, stressed, or going through a break-up, and that is real emotional labour on top of the physical job.
