‘Pure evil’ killer dubbed ‘Satan’s puppet’ shot neighbour in head then drank her blood

WARNING, DISTRESSING CONTENT: Cynthia Ming was jailed for 50 years after murdering her neighbour, who was found naked and covered in blood having allegedly suffered years of ‘demonic harassing’

A woman branded “Satan’s puppet” has been slapped with a 50-year jail term after being found guilty of burgling her neighbour’s home, murdering her and consuming her blood.

Cynthia Ming, 54, originally pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity for the killing of 45-year-old Angie Melissa Moore on September 7, 2022. She later changed her plea to guilty, accepting a 50-year sentence deal.

Moore dialled 911 just before midnight on September 6, 2022, alerting police that someone was trying to break into her home through a window. When officers arrived at her home, they found her “completely naked”, lifeless, and soaked in blood.

Ming attempted to flee the scene, leading officers to deploy a Taser. Police eventually managed to apprehend Ming, who confessed to breaking into the victim’s Texas home, grabbing a gun from her hands, and shooting her fatally in the head before consuming her blood because Moore “killed her dog”, reports the Mirror US.

The murderer’s physician, Dr Lee Carter, informed the court that Ming had been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, histrionic personality disorder, and schizoaffective disorder, bipolar type. Ming allegedly informed Carter on the evening of the slaying that she had been “electrocuted” by a live wire at her residence, causing her to behave “around all bugged out”.

Nevertheless, she insists she was of sound mind when the offence occurred.

Ming, who has remained incarcerated since the killing, might be eligible for parole in 25 years, though prosecutors believe it’s improbable she’ll receive a lighter sentence considering the savagery of the crime.

Prosecutors Duncan Widmann and Luke McCowan said: “Since Ming will almost certainly never leave prison, this plea agreement achieves the same outcome a conviction for capital murder would have, while eliminating the risks associated with the trial and appeals processes. Those risks often increase in cases involving claims of insanity.”

Clay Thomas, Ming’s barrister, revealed he was ready to proceed to trial, whilst honouring his client’s decision. “I think it would have been an interesting trial,” Thomas remarked.

“But as always, it’s what the client wants. They are the ones who have to assume the risk and do the time.”

In devastating victim impact statements, Ming’s parents, Martha and Marvin Moore, outlined how her loss has affected the entire family, including her 16-year-old son, Conner, who composed a song calling Ming “Satan’s puppet”.

The parents also revealed that Moore had suffered years of “aggressive, demonic harassing” from Ming, describing her as “a force of pure evil that lived across the street”.

Conner wrote: “She was Satan’s puppet, and she is going to hell if she doesn’t ask God for forgiveness for her sins… She shed my mother’s innocent blood. One day it will be worse for her when she stands before my almighty God.”

Taking to the witness box, Moore’s father confronted Ming head-on, vowing he would stare her “right in the eye and tell you what you did to my family”.

While describing the torment of losing his daughter, Marvin labelled Ming a “cold-blooded murderer,” saying he hoped that she dies in prison.
