Algerian migrant who stole designer garments from Selfridges whereas on bail turns as much as court docket sporting jacket from the identical model
An Algerian migrant stole £350 worth of Canada Goose beanies from Selfridges while on bail – before appearing in court wearing one of the brand’s jackets.
Dade Mustafa, 35, grabbed two hats from the world famous department store on Oxford Street on October 10.
CCTV footage captured the brazen thief peering around the shop before seizing the opportunity to swipe the luxury items.
Mustafa then calmly walked away with the beanies in his hand before being tackled by security.
The migrant was said to have squared up to security guard Farzan Molaei before telling him to ‘f*** off’.
At the time, he was on immigration bail for undisclosed offences.
Mustafa appeared in the dock today at Southwark Crown Court wearing a Canada Goose jacket, which can cost up to £1,200 new.

The brazen theft happened in front of hundreds of shoppers at the one of the busiest shops in the country, prosecutor Alex Alawode said.
Mustafa, who has a string of previous convictions and lives in Wood Green, North London, admitted one count of theft from a shop.
He spoke to confirm his personal details, aided by an Arabic interpreter.
He denied using threatening or abusive words and that charge was ordered to lie on file.
Charlotte Arundale, defending Mustafa, told the court: ‘The defendant entered the UK from Algeria. He is currently on immigration bail.
‘He has used an alias name. He has showed me some immigration bail documentation which gives us a name as Dade Mustafa.

His date of birth was also different on his documents.’
The Daily Mail has asked the Home Office what immigration offences Mustafa was on bail for.
Judge Charles Bourne KC said: ‘He has been in the court on a number of occasions in the recent past.
‘A report will be necessary.
‘You have a number of previous matters against you and I need more information before I can deal with your sentence.
You will remain on bail on the condition you do not go to Selfridges.’
Mustafa will be sentenced at the same court on February 12.
