Davina McCall tied the knot with hairdresser Michael Douglas last week in a small London ceremony, two months after their surprise Ibiza engagement.
The television host, 58, praised her ‘lovely’ new husband, 49, following the ceremony after he supported her through surgery to remove a benign brain tumour and recent breast cancer diagnosis.
Davina and Michael first met when he styled her hair during her time presenting Big Brother, which she worked on from 2000 until 2010.
They later turned their longtime friendship into romance during the summer of 2019, two years after her split from ex husband Matthew Robertson.
Michael shares two sons with ex-wife Tracy who was reportedly left ‘devastated’ when the couple went public with their romance.
A source said at the time: ‘Davina had met their children and was the last person Tracey ever thought Michael would end up with.

They told The Sun: ‘To find out they are dating, and that they’d been showing off their new relationship in public was an absolutely devastating blow for Tracey.
‘She’s been crying a lot and trying to get her head around it.’
The source went onto add that Michael and Tracey has split the previous year but remained civil, with the hairdresser still living nearby to maintain a close relationship with their two sons.

Michael is a celebrity hairdresser from Leyland, in northwest Lancashire and had considered a career as a motorbike mechanic before embracing his love of hairdressing.
He’s been has been in the beauty industry for over 21 years, beginning his career as a junior at Wella’s London studio before working his way up.
He’s since gone on to style the locks of some of the most famous people in the world including Kate Moss, Johnny Depp, Sienna Miller.
While he’s also demonstrated his expertise on a variety of TV shows including Good Morning Britain, The One Show and This Morning.

Michael is also the founder of hair styling company mdlondon, where he vows his mission is to ‘demystify the world of hair styling’ and ‘untangle the smoke and mirrors of salon- perfect hair’.
It was revealed on Wednesday the presenter married the hair stylist on Friday in an intimate ceremony attended by ‘everyone who is special in their lives.
Davina swapped the traditional wedding gown for a white fur-look coat as she tied the knot with Michael in a small London ceremony.
Pictures have shown the heartwarming moment the couple departed Marylebone Town Hall after being declared husband and wife.
Excitedly posing with her new husband, Davina showed off her bridal white fur coat and matching lace hat, layered over matching tights and ankle-strap heels, while Michael opted for a bright blue suit.
She and Michael were supported by their loved ones at the wedding, with Davina’s daughter Tilly, 21, sharing a video on TikTok ahead of the ceremony.
Showing off her wedding look, she captioned the post: ‘Be prepared to be SICK of me.’

Meanwhile Michael blasted a ‘terrible’ hotel room he was staying in on Thursday night – as he returned to social media after secretly marrying the presenter.
The hairdresser was back to work straight after their stylish nuptials and told how he was in a less than satisfactory room as he took part in an Instagram live on Thursday night.
After the wedding he was straight back to work and had done actress Miranda Hart‘s hair for her appearance on The One Show before heading to Cambridge for another job where he was staying over night.
He said in the clip: ‘Hello, this is the 11th advent live on the 11th of December. How are you all? It’s just a quick one tonight, I’m in a hotel room tonight in Cambridge.’
He then added: ‘It’s horrible! I don’t know who designs these hotels these days,’ before laughing.
‘I am doing hair up here, I have a big job here tomorrow, and I was on The One Show tonight.. I did Miranda Hart’s hair, she was a lovely woman.’
