A bare-breasted woman who was seen masturbating outside Waitrose has escaped being thrown behind bars.
Chester magistrates court heard how businesswoman Beverley Dean, 54, was stressed out on February 25 when she decided to pleasure herself on a bench in broad daylight.
As she made herself comfortable near Waitrose in Northwich, Cheshire, Dean’s breasts was on show for all who walked past, until police officers arrived and found sex toys filling her bag.

The divorcee with no previous convictions initially denied all allegations but having eventually pleaded guilty, she has now been fined £200 for public indecency.
Prosecutor Miss Shannen Carey described Dean’s outrageous actions to the court, she said: “The defendant is seen to put her fingers in her mouth and then proceed to put them between her legs. She appeared to be masturbating.
“She had her mobile phone in her right hand and appeared to be filming herself or taking photos of herself performing the act. She stopped to smoke a cigarette and then continued to suck on her fingers and placed them between her legs.”
Mis Carey added: “After she did this she stood up from the bench and both breasts were exposed. Her blouse was unbuttoned and her coat was hanging off her shoulders.
“Officers were called and the defendant was arrested. Her property was searched and an assortment of sex toys and lubricants were found in the defendant’s bag.”
Embarrassed Dean struggled to comprehend her actions let alone discuss them, according to her defence solicitor, Mr Shane O’Neill who said the 54-year-old is “horrified by what she did”.
He said: “She had a business with her husband that went belly up. That put pressure on the relationship and the relationship split up. Though they are still good friends.

“Her life has been dishevelled before and after this incident.”
On top of the £200 fine, Dean was ordered to complete a 12-month community order with 30 days of rehabilitation activity and pay £180 in costs and victim surcharge.
Sentencing Dean, District Judge Nicholas Sanders said: “None of us in the court today knows what on earth you were doing on that day.
“It might be because of a load of stress, it might be because of lots of things. You need to be open and honest with the probation service.”
