Manchester United are considering a loan move for Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic

Manchester United are considering a shock loan move for Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic to help bolster their options this summer.

Newcastle, AC Milan and Juventus are also keen on the USA international who has struggled to establish himself under Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.

Pulisic, who joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund for £57.6million in 2019, could now head to Premier League rivals United as he seeks regular game time with his agent pushing for the move to happen.

The American international has struggled to establish himself under Blues boss Thomas Tuchel

United were originally unsure on the 23-year-old, but with options changing, and a miserable start to the new season things have changed.

Erik ten Hag’s side look light in attack, especially given the uncertainty surrounding star forward Cristiano Ronaldo, and the injury to Anthony Martial at present – therefore Pulisic could be a good fit.

Chelsea are willing to listen to loan offers as they have been throughout the summer as boss Thomas Tuchel looks to re-shape his attacking line.

Pulisic has also spoken about his frustration at the lack of starts he has received under Tuchel and has been played in a number of positions.

He has been eager to get a run of games so that he can enjoy his football again and hit form ahead of the World Cup.

Since joining the Blues, Pulisic has made 117 appearances, scoring 25 goals, but last season he suffered a lengthy period on the sidelines following an ankle injury and made just 13 Premier League starts.

He finished the campaign with only eight goals and has fallen behind in the Chelsea pecking order.

Pulisic is still not a starter this season despite Romelu Lukaku re-joining Inter Milan on loan and Timo Werner heading back to RB Leipzig for £25million – leaving Chelsea light on attacking options.
