An elderly Wendy’s customer has died 10 days after being sucker punched in the head by an employee, who is now facing murder charges for the ordeal.
Fast-food worker Antonine Kendrick, 35, confronted the 67-year-old man at the store, before punching and knocking him unconscious on July 26 at around 5pm.
It’s believed Kendrick launched the vicious physical attack the man when he complained about his meal order at Wendy’s in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
Kendrick has now been arrested and is facing second-degree murder charges after the man died in hospital, nearly two weeks after the bust up.
Footage shows Kendrick taking the man’s order before the altercation. The 67-year-old can be seen wagging his finger before Kendrick comes out from behind the counter.

Kendrick then takes a look at the victim laying on the ground before walking back behind the counter, grabbing some items, and walking away.
The horrific strike caused the elderly man to collapse on the floor and lose consciousness, officials said.
He was then airlifted to hospital, where he remained in critical condition for 10 days.
But the elderly man sadly died from his wounds on August 5.

Police arrested Kendrick and charged him with aggravated assault at the time of the incident.
Since the 67-year-old’s death, Kendrick’s charges have changed to second-degree murder.
Cops said in a statement: ‘A customer complained about his food order at which time, the employee, Antoine Kendrick, came out from behind the service counter and struck the customer in the head.’
Customers appeared to spectate the assault nearby as they waited for orders, including one who recalled the incident as ‘horrible.’
‘That was a Mike Tyson hit,’ one customer told AZ Family. ‘The customer didn’t touch him, so he had no right to touch the customer, period, end of story. I just think that’s horrible and wish it didn’t happen. It puts a bad light on our entire society.’
Another spectator said he has never seen an incident unfold like that in the 20 years he has lived in the area.
‘It’s mellow up here, you don’t have that kind of stuff. It’s a shame. I feel for the guy that got hit. It’s not right.’
Wendy’s didn’t immediately respond to an inquiry for a comment.
