Everyone has certain things that turn them off – or give them the ‘ick’ – when it comes to getting close to another person.
Smelly breath and general messiness tends to be at the top of the list for many.
But this woman has shared how a polite gesture after a bonking session can make her cut ties for good.

Musician and TikTok user Kat Penkin admitted that it can even turn her off of the most ‘perfect’ guy.
In the clip that has racked up thousands of views, the artist went as far as stating that the act makes her stomach feel uneasy.
“This man is so perfect he could NEVER give me the ick”, Kat declared as she bit her lip and giggled at the camera.
But, her initial reaction to the swoon worthy lad was wrong.
In fact this one interaction after sex can change her feelings instantly.
Kat gagged and rolled her eyes as she fretted: “[He] says ‘thank you’ after [sex].”
“It actually makes my stomach turn.”
One person feared: “But who does this?”
Another user added: “When they high-five you.”
Experts have now revealed why people catch the ‘ick’ from someone you thought you fancied the pants off.
Sally Sheldon, lead neuroscientist at brain training app Peak shared: “When you start to feel your relationship is heating up, your brain tries to protect you.
“When our minds circulate fearful, critical, judgemental thoughts, our brains release stress hormones, such as cortisol. Why? Because our brain doesn’t know the difference between an event that’s actually happening and one that we are imagining.
“Our survival response (fight, flight, or freeze) overrides our logical brains, putting our system on guard. We then convince ourselves that we’re going to get hurt by this person, and we convince ourselves we don’t like them anymore.”
