Anthony Joshua left fans baffled with his bizarre actions after losing to Oleksandr Usyk.
After losing on points, Joshua threw two belts down before storming out of the ring.
But then he climbed back in, took hold of the mic and went into a bizarre rant.
Incredible, when he spoked about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he said: “I’ve been studying Ukraine and all the champions from your amazing country… but I ain’t ever been there.
“What’s happening there… I don’t know what’s happening but it’s not nice at the end of the day”
It sparked a confused and at times furious reaction on social media.
One said: “Na man AJ’s new team should of took that right out his hand. I like AJ but What on earth was that? I didn’t like that at all. Let Usyk have his moment.”
Footballer Jamie Carragher said: “What is going on here?”
And Piers Morgan said: “Embarrassing antics at the end by Joshua. He was beaten by a superior fighter who put on a magnificent performance of highly-skilled, supremely resilient boxing. Congrats. A great champion & the pride of his nation. Moral of tonight: Ukrainians are hard as nails.”
Usyk himself looked baffled, and chose not to comment on his opponent’s antics.
