Casemiro is well on his way to becoming a Manchester United player, with the Brazilian already undergoing his medical ahead of the deal.

The Red Devils announced they had reached a £60million agreement, that could rise to £70m, with Real Madrid for Casemiro on Friday evening. The move is still subject to personal terms, a visa, and Casemiro completing a medical with the Red Devils.

After United’s announcement, Real said they will perform an “institutional act of homage and farewell to Casemiro will take place at Real Madrid City on Monday morning, with the presence of club president Florentino Perez.”

Casemiro was one of the key members of a Real Madrid squad that reigned over Europe in the mid-2010s.

And he will link back up with former Los Blancos team-mates Raphael Varane and Cristiano Ronaldo. Varane said on social media: “Many battles fought together with my warrior Case! Welcome to Manchester, amigo.”
