Manchester United fans have spotted what they believe is a blatant attempt by the club to ‘change’ the audio of fans during Casemiro’s unveiling at Old Trafford.
The Brazilian midfielder was paraded in front of the United faithful ahead of Monday’s Premier League win over Liverpool. He received a warm reception from fans in a video posted to the club’s official social media pages.
Red Devils fans could be heard in the clip chanting: “United, United, United!” but eagle-eyed supporters have now suggested stock audio from another instance has been edited in over the real one to hide the true feelings of the crowd.

Twitter user @FinFtbl replied to the official United tweet with fan-recorded footage of Casemiro being brought out to the pitch. And the sound was notably different as they captioned it: “Audio matches up eh lads?”
Chants of “We want Glazer out, we want Glazer out!” could be heard ringing around Old Trafford in the ‘real’ video as a protest against the club’s ownership. That prompted other United fans on Twitter to voice their anger at the attempt to cover up supporters’ sentiment towards the state of their club.

One fan tweeted: “Dictatorship they want us to believe the club is run fine #GlazersOut.”
Another angry supporter added: “They censored the #GlazersOut chants or should I say replaced with a generic track.”
A third simply wrote: “Like a fascist regime.”
