Allan Saint-Maximin’s late equaliser sees Newcastle rescue a point at Monlineux

Wolverhampton Wanderers are still waiting their first three points of the season as a late goal from Allen Saint-Maximin saw a share of the spoils at Molineux.

Ruben Neves’ first half strike look to have settled the game, but the Magpie’s French star popped up in the final minute with a late equaliser for Eddie Howe‘s men.

Bruno Lage‘s team also had a Raul Jimenez goal chalked off by VAR when it was ruled there was a foul on Ryan Fraser in the build-up.

Newcastle were without the injured Callum Wilson and new signing Alexander Isak who’s work permit wasn’t cleared in time for the game.
