Fulham have placed a bid for Blackburn’s Chile striker Ben Brereton Diaz.
Rovers have also had offers from Nice and Celta Vigo in this window and they are both willing to wait until January when Brereton-Diaz could agree to sign for them in the summer, when his contract at Ewood Park ends.
Valencia and Villarreal are also vying to convince Brereton Diaz to sign a pre-contract. The Stoke-born forward has drawn offers from LaLiga following his outstanding performances for his adopted country Chile.

As well as Fulham’s bid there remains interest from other Premier League clubs before Thursday’s 11pm deadline.
Everton are another club to have expressed the strongest interest and are deemed most likely to try again over the next 24 hours with talks ongoing.
Fulham saw their move for Roma’s Justin Kluivert stall on Tuesday night after he was denied a work permit but they are also talking to Marseille regarding a deal for Bamba Dieng.
The Chile international has attracted lots of interest from the Premier League and abroad
Everton have spoken to Wolves about Hwang Hee-Chan – also wanted by Leeds – have discussed Watford’s Joao Pedro and retain interest in a loan for Chelsea’s Armando Broja.
However, Brereton Diaz’s energy, work ethic and goals make him an attractive option for the Goodison club’s hierarchy who have encouraged a move for the 23-year-old after he scored 22 goals last season and notched two already this term.
