Three men arrested on suspicion of murder after a man, 20s, dies after fatal injuries in Slough

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a young man who was found with fatal injuries in Slough.

The victim, 20s, was found around lunchtime yesterday on Keel Drive near to a Hindu Temple with serious injuries and later died at hospital.

A trio of suspects have been arrested and are being held in police cells awaiting questioning.

Detectives from the Thames Valley Police Major Crime Team have launched a full-scale investigation, sealing off Keel Drive and part of Concorde Way in the town so that forensic inquiries could be carried out.

Police also confirmed they are not looking for anyone else after arresting three men. 

Officers were called to the residential road at around 1.45pm yesterday, a spokesman for the Major Crime Team said today: ‘We have launched a murder investigation following an incident in Slough.

‘A man aged in his 20s was found with serious injuries and was taken to hospital but sadly he later died. Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.’

Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Dejan Avramovic, said: ‘The victim’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

‘We are in the very early stages of this complex investigation but we are not looking for anyone else and we believe there is no wider risk to the public.

‘We would ask anyone with information which might help us to please call 101 or make a report online.’

Superintendent Lee Barnham, Local Policing Area Commander for Slough said: ‘A scene watch is likely to be in place for a number of days, which will have an impact on local residents who I would like to thank for their patience while we carry out our inquiries.’

A Home Office pathologist is due to carry out a post mortem examination on the man’s body at the mortuary at Wexham Park Hospital to establish the exact cause of his death and an inquest will be opened and adjourned by the Berkshire coroner Heidi Connor.
