British drinkers wanting to raise a pint to Her Majesty The Queen on the day of her funeral will now be able to queue up at the bar as early as 5am.
The Daily Star can exclusively reveal that while the vast majority of businesses in the country will be closed on Monday (September 19) on the official Bank Holiday, some branches of Wetherspoons pubs are staying open with extended opening times – giving drinkers at 20-hour window to pay tribute.
Three branches out of 851 British boozers will be open from 5am on Monday – and will remain open the entire day.

All found at train stations in London, the three branches that are swinging their doors open early are:
Liverpool Street: Hamilton Hall – 5am to midnight
Victoria Station – 5am to 1am
St Pancras: The Barrel Vault – 5am to 1am

This will mean an almost 20-hour window for fans of the-late Royal to have as many pints as they want while paying tribute to Her Majesty on the day she is laid to rest.
Other selected Wetherspoon pubs in London will open at 8am and close at midnight but the majority of pubs in the chain will be opening at 1pm.

Rivals Stonegate will also be opening its 330 pubs and bars on the day so that the public can watch the proceedings “where possible”, while Green King pubs – of which there are around 2,600 – will also open on the day.
Both chains will have various different times, so checking the individual pub websites is probably worth doing before heading straight there for a tribute pint.
Mitchell and Butler – owners of Harvester, All Bar One, O’Neill’s and more – will also be open to show the funeral “where possible”.

And when you need something to mop up the booze, Domino’s will be opening its branches from 12pm on Monday.
Sadly, if you’re looking for something other than pizza to eat, Tesco will be closing its large stores, as will Asda, Lidl, Co-op, Morrisons and Iceland.
However, a few smaller Tesco Express shops in central London and Windsor will be open during the day given the hoards of mourners expected to descend upon the capital.

The funeral proceedings officially start at 6.30am when the lying-in-state ends.
The coffin will then be loaded onto a gun carriage for a short procession from Westminster Hall to Westminster Abbey, starting at 10.44am.
The funeral itself will start at 11am, and end around midday.
