Dallas Cowboys fan rides into Walmart on a horse dressed with a unicorn horn after his team won

Sheriff, get that cowboy!

Texas Cowboys fan Michael Duncan and his horse Sheriff took a detour from the tailgate to trot through Walmart to get Sheriff a bucket so he could also imbibe – on water.

Just like fans are thirsty for a rare win from the team, Sheriff was parched for a big blue bucket of water. That’s the reason Duncan giddied up through Walmart to the delight of grocery shoppers and the internet.

‘I freaking can’t believe I had to leave tailgate to get a new bucket in Walmart for Sheriff Duncan some water!!’ Duncan, who wore a Dak Prescott jersey perched on his horse, wrote on Instagram

It would hard to say if the horse or its owner is a bigger Dallas fan, as the animal was decked with blue streaks through his mane, a blue tail, and a blue fuzzy unicorn horn.

The gentle horse calmly trotted into the Walmart, stopping in the vestibule for Duncan to ask: ‘Can he come in here?’ An employee didn’t answer and they continued their journey through the store in search of a five-gallon bucket.

‘Are you okay with him coming with me to get the bucket?’

The security gates then open and Sheriff begins his journey to stardom and aisle A14.

The Dallas Cowboys ultimately won 20-17 on Sunday.

Cowboys fan Michael Duncan, of Texas, pictured on his horse Sheriff, trotted through Walmart straight from a tailgate. The horse had a blue tail, with blue striped hair and a unicorn horn

They went into the store to buy a blue five-gallon bucket to fill with water for Sheriff to drink. Employees along the way helped the horse and his rider find the item

Several people stopped them along the way, including an officer, who let them pass. Many filmed as Duncan asked: ‘Y’all don’t see unicorns in here every day?’

‘No way!’ someone excitedly yells as they see Sheriff. At one point several employees in blue vests gather around to pet the horse and to assist Duncan pick up a blue bucket for water.

Stunned children left their jaws on the floor as he passed by, Duncan jokingly asked: ‘Y’all don’t see unicorns in here every day?’

At one point, a police officer in the store stops Duncan and Sheriff, but ultimately lets the duo continue on their way.

Various videos of the encounter began popping up on social media, with even the Dallas Cowboys’ official TikTok posting a video of him, asking TikTok users to ‘do your thing! Help us find this Cowboy!’

Duncan and Sheriff (pictured together) have had a lot fun throughout Texas as they go on bar crawls together and have popped up in various Walmart stores

Users quickly identified the Texan and his well-traveled horse. The Cowboys have yet to make an official statement regarding the quick find.

However, social media users nonetheless got in on the fun.

TikTok user Maria Chisoldado wrote: ‘It’s okay. It’s a service animal.’

Another user joked that ‘it’s true, we don’t know how to act when the Cowboys win.’

Many commented that these things happen ‘only in Texas.’

‘This is how we Texas,’ user DayCee wrote.

‘You can’t sum up Texas in one video. The video,’ another wrote.

‘This is the craziest thing I have seen and I live in Texas,’ Lupita P. Hernandez wrote on the popular app.

Sheriff worked up a sweat prior to his Walmart adventure. He wouldn’t be a true fan if he didn’t actually attend the game at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The brightly colored horse hung out in the parking outside the stadium for fans to take a joy ride on, including Cowboy player Zeke Elliot’s father Stacy.

Fan Abby Kelleher (pictured) hopped onto Sheriff’s back at a September 12 game

‘Never in my life did I think I would be riding a horses @attstadium before a NFL football GAME!!! I’m going to tell my grandchildren that THE @ambasdor_elliott was a REAL Cowboy!!!’ the proud father wrote.

Dallas fans Abby Kelleher and Steven Cruz also posted on their Instagram a picture of her and Sheriff outside of the stadium.

Sheriff seems to make his rounds arounds all the hot stops around time as the steed’s Instagram and TikTok are filled with various bar crawls and restaurant stops.
