The devastated family of murdered toddler Star Hobson are appealing for help after a precious keepsake, a stone, was left on a plane in the USA.
Sixteen-month-old Star was tragically murdered after months of abuse by her stepmother Savannah Brockhill, 28.
Brockhill was jailed for a minimum term of 25 years for murder and Star’s mum Frankie Smith, 20, was locked up for 12 years for causing, or allowing, the death after her sentence was extended by the Court of Appeal.

Star’s family are appealing on Facebook, pleading people to help them find the stone which they created as a ‘Remembug’ to take around the world in memory of the toddler after her death.
The Remembug is a red, black and blue painted rock with a smiley face, and has travelled to numerous places in memory of Star.
Star’s great-grandad David Fawcett and his family and friends have taken the ‘Remembug’ to Barcelona and Whitby so far.
Sadly the stone was left on the plane in Florida, US, after a family friend took the stone away with them.
In a Facebook group dedicated to Star, David posted: “So sad to announce that Baby Star’s Remembug has been lost, she was going on her holidays to DisneyWorld in Florida and was unfortunately left on the plane.
“We are hoping to start a Go Fund Me campaign to try and find her, so if anybody has any Florida connections to help find her and bring her home then please let us know.”
David believes the stone will either be on the EG935 MAN – MCO Aer Lingus flight on September 19, or on the EG934 MCO – MAN flight, also on September 19.
