A tattooed adult star has opened up about the discrimination she has faced while trying to find sex work because of her ink.
With over 66,000 Instagram followers, Misha Montana has made her name as a cover model and porn star and has even continued to work in the adult industry after suffering from a stroke.
Despite her success, the adult performer has spoken out in the past about the struggle of getting her fiance – who is a porn director – to trust her with her work.

And, if balancing an adult career with a long-term relationship wasn’t difficult enough, Misha has revealed that she often faces a struggle when finding new companies to work with because of her tattoo art.
“I’ve been doing sex work for about 10 years,” she said on the Krazy Train podcast with porn star-turned wrestler Jasmin St Claire.. “I finally started to jump into industry porn and got the courage to do it about two years ago, dead smack in the middle of the pandemic.
“I was never able to get an agent, I went through all the agencies and they politely declined taking me on.
“I was frustrated and I didn’t realise how difficult it is to actually get into the industry side of porn.”
And, as her search continued, the Nevada native realised it was her tattoos that were holding her back from landing a dream role.
She continued: “I was dropped by an agency because of the tattoos, I’ve had directors and producers say, ‘I’m trying to get you into some of these scenes and they just won’t go for it’, which is crazy.
“People have these misconception that tattoos are so wildly popular and these beautiful tattoo models have huge followings and are very successful.

“It’s still the same as it was 20 years ago for the most part; it is extremely difficult to be tattooed in this industry, which people don’t believe but it is completely.”
Despite facing these initial setbacks, Misha managed to land the role of chief brand officer, production manager, and in-house director for the Alt Erotic adult film company.
And, speaking to the Daily Star earlier this year, Misha revealed that she had never been satisfied in her career until she started working in porn.
