Wanda Nara claims ex-Prem ace turned rock star hit on her during marriage to Mauro Icardi

Wanda Nara has sensationally claimed former Southampton forward Dani Osvaldo tried to woo her while she was married to Mauro Icardi.

Nara and Icardi’s relationship has been one of the most dramatic and unpredictable of the pitch sagas in recent footballing memory. The pair’s rocky relationship appeared to have run its course when Nara looked to have confirmed the end of their time together on social media.

But despite branding Nara as “toxic” and accusing her of “trying to control his life”, Icardi posted a photo of the Argentinean on his Instagram account in what appeared to be a sign they may have reconvened once again. However, Icardi may be left with more questions after she revealed Osvaldo, who has walked away from football to become a rockstar, reportedly tried to chat her up at a football match.

Nara revealed the tale while acting as a judge on Argentina’s version of ‘The Masked Singer’. Initially, she predicted one of the performers was Osvaldo, after saying their attitude matched that of the fiery ex-Italian international.

However, Nara did not stop there as she quickly decided to recount the tale of Osvaldo reportedly trying to win her affection. According to Nara, Osvaldo approached her while in the VIP room of a stadium.

It is very possible their meeting at the ground could have taken place while Osvaldo was playing alongside Nara at Inter. During their meeting, Nara said he tried to win her affection and interest during their very brief encounter.

While nothing is believed to have happened between Nara and Osvaldo, it is an interesting story to tell, considering the apparent precariousness of her relationship with Icardi. Ironically, Icardi and Osvaldo also had a fiery on field relationship between each other.

The pair very briefly played alongside each other at Serie A giants Inter Milan during the 2014-15 season. But their most memorable moment together in the Inter frontline came when they came to blows, after Icardi chose to shoot instead of pass to a wide open Osvaldo.

Icardi has previously said that he would have tried to punch Osvaldo, had Inter teammates not got themselves between the pair. Imagine Icardi’s rage, had he found out that story of Osvaldo’s purported attempt to woo Nara.
