Meghan Markle is a “social climber” and “B-list actress”, according to an American journalist.
Former Fox and NBC host Megyn Kelly also suggested the Duchess of Sussex is obsessed “about image”.
Kelly made the comments while speaking with royal author Tom Bower for her podcast The Megyn Kelly Show.

In the official synopsis for his book Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and The War Between The Windsors, Bower writes that Meghan “fought hard for stardom”, a fight which “culminated with Meghan’s ultimate fairy tale ending: their 2018 wedding at Windsor Castle”.
Less than two years after their wedding, Meghan and Prince Harry announced they would be stepping back from their roles as working royals.
They then jetted off for a new life in California, US.
Discussing the Sussexes in her latest podcast episode, Kelly ranted: “She’s a Hollywood B-list – to be charitable – actress.
“She was a social climber. Her whole thing is about image, so I can see why she’s so easy to upset when it comes to bad press.”
She didn’t mince her words when it came to Harry either, who she dubbed “thin-skinned”.
Kelly continued: “But Harry, he’s the son of the king. I was surprised by your reporting that he follows the media and social media and cares about every word written.”
She also weighed on a claim made by royal author Valentine Low – that Harry feared he “would become irrelevant” when Prince George turned 18.

“Harry believes he’s got a ‘limited time’ to be on the world stage because Prince George is aging by the moment and will overtake him as the next best thing in the British tabloids,” Kelly said.
“These two [the Sussexes] are as thin-skinned as they come when it comes to their public image. Whether they matter, what people write about them, and whether they are being adequately ‘protected’ to maintain the images they believe they have.”
