Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho have starred together for Pepsi’s launch of the campaign ‘Thirsty For More’.
The advert sees the pair together playing on the streets in the Middle East, with Paul Pogba also in on the action as well. It begins with Paris Saint-Germain star Messi getting distracted by a fan who offers him a Pepsi, leading to him subsequently getting ‘megged.’
The piece of skill leads to a huge nutmeg battle with everyone getting involved. Soon the ordeal grabs the attention of a new channel and a local passerby,

Even social media goes wild for the panna showdown, with football journalist Fabrizio Romano informing his followers about the royale that’s taking place.
Pogba and Ronaldinho then make an appearance, racking up the points on the nutmeg leaderboard. Even iconic commentator Peter Drury comes in on the action, expressing his disbelief at what he’s just witnessed.

Indeed, the football film ‘Nutmeg Royale’ starring the superstars is set to be announced – with the trailer highlighting ‘the thrill of the action and unexpected possibilities that occur when you bring the world’s most accomplished footballers together.’
The footage also pays homage to the iconic 2002 Pepsi MAX football jersey – with Messi seen tearing off his jersey towards the end of the film.
