NFL star Tom Brady joked that there were more F-bombs than touchdowns during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers‘ 20-18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ as he admitted it was not one of his better days following the foul-mouthed rant.

The quarterback did not hold back in letting his offensive teammates know how frustrated he felt in the Buccaneers’ third loss of the season Sunday.

Brady cut a frustrated figure in the Week 6 matchup and he wanted more from his offensive line with the team trailing 10-6 in the second quarter.

‘You’re so much better than the way you’re f***ing playing,’ Brady was picked up saying by the FOX television cameras.

Not all audio could be heard from the footage but Brady did drop another f-bomb in his angry talk at his teammates.

WARNING – BAD LANGUAGE

The quarterback admitted the game was not one of his better days after a frustrating loss

A much calmer Brady addressed the explosive rant on his Let’s Go podcast! Monday as he admitted the moment was not one of his finest but claimed that television coverage has began showing snippets from the sidelines more frequently.

‘It’s a bad day when there’s more F-bombs than touchdowns,’ he joked. ‘That was not one of my better days.

‘They used to kind of keep from showing you in those moments but now it’s kind of for the world to see. That’s just the way it is.’

When asked by host Jim Gray if his teammates respond well, Brady insisted that it was his job to motivate them.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner joked there were more F-bombs than touchdowns

‘It’s all good,’ he said. ‘I think I have a great rapport with my teammates and they know the only reason I’m doing it is to try and motivate them and get us to a higher level.

‘If I don’t feel like we’re playing up to the expectations that we’re capable of then that’s my job.

‘I’m a quarterback. I’m not expecting the right tackle to do it, I’m not expecting the running back to do it, I’m not expecting the receiver to to it. I’m expecting myself to do it.

‘I’m the one out there speaking in the huddle, calling the plays, that’d what my job is. I’m going to try and get us going and try to rally us.

‘There’s a lot of ways of doing it and sometimes it’s some positive encouragement, sometimes it’s getting on people and trying to raise the level, the sense of urgency and raising my voice and trying to create a different vibration for the whole offense.’

Brady insisted that it was his job as the quarterback to motivate and rally his teammates

He may claim it is his job as quarterback to rally the team but the seven-time Super Bowl winner also insisted that he is just as receptive to criticism as he expects his teammates to be.

Brady believes that is the responsibility of every member of the team to voice their opinion if they feel something is going wrong.

‘I think that’s part of being a great teammate, being receptive to what people you care about think,’ he said.

‘If these people have a great deal of respect for you by the way you show up to work and you’re prepared then you have the opportunity to say whatever you want.

‘It’s our team, no one owns the team. The players don’t, the coaches don’t, we’re all in this together. It’s our team and we have the right to voice our opinion to each other when we don’t feel it’s going the right way.

‘It’s not only the coach’s job, it’s not only the captain’s job, it’s not only the veteran’s job, it’s anybody’s job that sees us playing at a less than capable ability to try and spark us into the right situation.’

The 45-year-old insisted he is just as receptive to criticism as he expects his teammates to be

Brady’s on-field frustration comes amid tension in his personal life too. Brady was mocked for his little outburst Sunday following reports he and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen have hired divorce lawyers.

Some have speculated that the couple’s issue involves Brady’s decision to return to the NFL after a brief off-season retirement, and Bundchen has made it clear that she has sacrificed for their family and his career.

The supermodel, who has not attended any Bucs games this season, took the lead on hiring an attorney and the NFL star followed while ‘figuring out what to do,’ according to People.

And his impassioned speech during Sunday’s loss came amid divorce rumors after weeks of rising speculation over the state of his marriage to Bundchen.

Bundchen, 42, and Brady, 45, have reportedly hired divorce lawyers 13 years after saying ‘I do’ in 2009, according to multiple reports

The clip of his mid-game rant sparked the social media mockery from fans asking if he regretted making the U-turn on his decision to quit the NFL.

One wrote: ‘I didn’t leave my wife and kids to lose to the Pittsburgh Steelers – probably Tom Brady.’

Another added: ‘Tom Brady sacrificed the love from his wife and kids to lose to Mitch Trubisky [Steelers quarterback]???’ While one said: ‘I can’t believe Tom Brady chose losing to the Steelers over his wife.’

Following the Week 6 loss, Brady issued a rallying cry on his Instagram page Monday, writing: ‘Football is hard. We’re not playing like we are capable. We’re in it together. We’ll turn it around. #GoBucs.’

Sunday was not Brady’s first sideline tantrum of the season either. He threw a tablet to the ground in a sideline game meltdown last month.

He also opened up about the ‘intense stress’ he faces on last week’s episode of the podcast.

He has spoken about his parents and children on the program, but has yet to mention his spouse in three episodes as reports continue swirl about a potential split.

On his podcast, Brady did stress the importance of work-life balance, while continuing to omit any mention of his wife.

‘And I think there was a part of us where we felt like, you know, suck it up and deal with it,’ Brady said. ‘And I think you realize that there’s a lot, especially in today’s day and age, with how fast things are happening in life for all of us, and the amount of responsibilities we have.

‘And also, you know, I think there’s part of us that are held to a certain standard that we’re almost inhuman,’ he continued. ‘You know, you hear this a lot from people that say, you know, ‘I’m only human.’ We are only human. We’re not inhuman. We’re not immune to a lot of the things that just life brings us. We’re not robots.

Brady and Bundchen have two children together — a 9-year-old daughter, Vivian Lake, and 12-year-old son Benjamin Rein – in addition to Brady’s 15-year-old son Jack, who lives with his mother, actress Bridget Moynahan, in New York

‘You wake up every day trying to do the best you can do, understanding that life has its stresses and to deal with them with a great support system and understanding and having some introspectiveness in your life where you can look at yourself and say, where do I need to commit my time and energy to?

‘And how can I lessen some of the stress and lessen the burden on me so that I can be good for people around me? So those are all different things that you work at. I worked at them when I was 20. There was a lot of things that I was going through when I was 20. There was a lot of things I was going through in my 30s.’

Gisele and Brady (seen together in 2018) have each hired divorce lawyers and are mulling over how to divide their multi-million-dollar fortune

Brady then added, ‘there’s things I’m going through in my 40s,’ but again, neglected to mention his wife or any reported marital issues.

‘And it’s life,’ Brady said. ‘And you learn to grow up and you learn to deal with life. And that’s what we’re all trying to do. We’re trying to do it the best way we can.’

Since rumors of the tensions between the pair first emerged, multiple reports claimed that Brady’s decision to U-turn on his retirement earlier this year was the trigger for their marital problems.

He had initially quit, in part, to focus on his family – as he vowed to spend more time with them since Gisele ‘deserves what she needs from me as a husband, and my kids deserve what they need from me as a dad.’

Many believed that Brady’s return became a point of contention for Bundchen. However, their rift is completely unrelated to the former Patriots’ star’s football career, DailyMail.com can confirm.

Bundchen is her husband’s ‘number one cheerleader’ and said she would not care if he played until he was in his 50s. But the friction between the two has still resulted in them living apart from one another.

The couple has two children together — a 9-year-old daughter, Vivian Lake, and 12-year-old son Benjamin Rein – in addition to Brady’s 15-year-old son Jack, who lives with his mother, actress Bridget Moynahan, in New York.
