Man finds his car wrapped in CLING FILM with threatening note attached to windscreen… before discovering the daft prank was pulled by his own mates!

A 20-year-old apprentice electrician was shocked when he found his car wrapped in cling film with a threatening note left on the windscreen.

Jack Hart returned to his parked Vauxhall Corsa after a day of work to find metres of plastic film covering it and a message.

The angry note read: ‘Please stop leaving your car here. Next time it will be worse.’

The young man feared he had upset someone by blocking their drive, but soon realised the stunt was actually a prank pulled off by his mates, The Sun reports.

Jack said: ‘I overheard them planning something. We play tricks on each other all the time and they always surprise me. But I must admit I never expected this.

‘They did it just after I parked the car. I went off to another job and they were going to a different one so they were still here when I left and that must have been when they did it.’

He said his pals had removed his car’s registration plate a few times and stolen his aerial but that their latest trick was ‘a bit of overkill’. 

The angry note left on his windscreen read: ‘Please stop leaving your car here. Next time it will be worse.’

Jack said it fortunately only took him a few minutes to remove the cling film from his car and that no damage was done to it

Pictures of his wrapped-up car went viral while Jack was working in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. 

Jack has now vowed to get his sparky mates back with the prank wars expected to escalate.

The apprentice said he usually parks his car in the area, which is near to his friend’s house, before jumping in their van to go to jobs to save petrol.

He said it fortunately only took him a few minutes to remove the cling film from his car and that no damage was done to it.
