  • The suspect was first seen assaulting another man at Baker Street tube station 
  • He was then seen pushing another man onto the tracks at Finchley Road station
  • Anyone who recognises the man or has further information should contact 999 

Police have launched a manhunt to find a suspect after he was seen pushing another man onto a tube track.

British Transport Police have released an image of the man who is wanted in connection with two assaults that happened on the London Underground today.

The man was first seen assaulting another man at Baker Street Station around 11.50am.

He was then seen shortly after midday at Finchley Road station where he pushed another man onto the tracks.

The second incident occurred around midday at Finchley Road Tube Station, London, where a man was shoved onto the tracks

Neither of the victims were seriously injured from the attacks.

Detectives believe the suspect was not known to either victim.

Anyone with information about the attack or who knows the man pictured has been asked to contact the police urgently.

Detective Inspector Paul Watts, said: ‘Following these concerning incidents, we want to trace this man at the earliest opportunity and we are appealing for the public’s help to establish his whereabouts.

‘If you see someone matching this image, please contact police urgently by calling 999. Please do not approach them.

‘This investigation is moving at pace and we would like to reassure the public that we’ll have a highly visible presence of officers on the network in London throughout this evening looking out for your safety.’
