Construction on NFL icon Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s ‘Billionaire Bunker’ is set to continue despite the former power couple announcing their divorce.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback met the Brazilian supermodel back in 2006 on a blind date, going on to share 13 years of marriage and raise two children as well as his son from a previous relationship.
The marriage is said to have been put under stress by his decision to reverse a retirement earlier this year, after which he return to the Buccaneers.

With their announcement coming earlier in the week, questions were ask about their joint property venture that is in the middle of construction.
Construction on the Florida mansion is going on as normal according to the Daily Mail, with the couple initially purchasing a £15million property on the location in 2020.
A 5,772-square-foot home was then torn down in preparation for the build, which is set to be an eco-friendly state-of-the-art mansion.

In a statement, Brady, 45, wrote: “In recent days, my wife and I finalised our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.
“We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the centre of our world in every way.
“We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve. We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration.
“Doing so is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world.
“However we wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written.
“And we kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate what is to come in the days and weeks ahead. Thank you.”
