Kyle Walker terrified Spurs stars including Jermain Defoe with brilliant Halloween prank

Kyle Walker may have been with Manchester City since 2017 – but his former Tottenham team-mates are still reeling from his Halloween pranks.

The England right-back sought revenge on the Spurs squad back in 2013 after explaining how he was usually the butt of the joke around the training ground. To do so, he dressed up in a spooky skeleton mask and jumped out on them when they least expected it.

One-by-one, they were lured into a room under false pretenses by the media team, who pretended they were filming a short Halloween sketch but had to pop off to get a camera.

It was at that point Walker would emerge from behind to give them a scare. First up was midfielder Sandro, who attempted to pull a frightening face of his own to the camera, but was soon the one screaming.

The Brazilian didn’t take kindly to the shock, jumping on top of Walker who exclaimed: “He wanted to fight me.” Next up were Andros Townsend and Jermain Defoe, who both fell to the floor in fright.

However, things didn’t go to plan with defender Jan Vertonghen. He was unphased by Walker’s surprise.

As his first prank had gone to plan, Walker then returned two years later to scare the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min. This time, he turned director.

A similar set up saw the Spurs stars of 2015 asked to do some media duties when Walker would cut the lights in the room. A man who’d undergone a Halloween makeover would then jump out on them.

Eric Dier, who usually has a cool demeanour in Antonio Conte’s backline, was suitably scared, letting out a yelp and jumping backwards. But there must be something in the water in Belgium because Vertonghen stood as still as a statue again, as did his fellow countryman Moussa Dembele

Kane and Son were both caught out while Townsend, who clearly had not forgotten about his past encounter with Walker, was wise to the plan and no-sold the jump scare.

Fortunately for the Spurs squad, City snapped Walker up for £50million and they didn’t have to endure any more of his pranks.
