Cara previously revealed that some of the experiences on the show were more explorative than others, as she detailed the session which made her feel like a ‘prude’.

The Only Murders in the Building star said she was taken aback by the requests from the instructor at the seminar, revealing: ‘I went into the masturbation seminar thinking it was going to be a classroom and I’d have a notepad.

‘Instead, it was a pink, leather gym mat on the floor, with six people going, ‘Well, take your underwear off. This is the lube.”

She added: ‘I didn’t realise I was a prude. I think I’m a pretty hip, young, cool, down-with-anything kind of girl but I was like, ‘Sorry what? Sorry, no, absolutely not, I will not do that.’ But I kind of did everything I felt comfortable doing.’

Earlier this year, it was claimed Cara had been seen interviewing regulars at an iconic LGBTQ+ venue as part of filming for the upcoming show.

Sources reported that filming took place for the new programme, which will be shown on BBC Three, at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern – one of London ‘s oldest and most treasured venues.

Cara – who identifies as pansexual – has previously been spotted enjoying a boozy night out at the inclusive pub before interviewing regulars in the pub as part of her six-part investigation.

An insider revealed to The Mirror : ‘It celebrates drag kings as well as drag queens and makes a huge effort to increase visibility for some of the most marginalised individuals in the LGBTQ+ community.

‘Cara was thrilled to visit such an iconic venue in a professional capacity and learn more about its history as she’s had a few nights out there herself in the past.

‘Since landing the presenting gig, which is somewhat out of her comfort zone, Cara has been learning more about those who are playing with gender as part of their art and performances.

The Suicide Squad star added: ‘It’s inspired her to incorporate more gender-bending elements into her own work. She might even be getting into drag herself.’
