Floyd Mayweather will go into his exhibition bout with YouTuber Deji on Sunday way more experienced – and way richer – than his opponent.
‘The Money Man’ will take on KSI’s brother in the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai, his fifth bout since retiring from pro boxing after his win over Conor McGregor in August 2017. And he’s already outlined his intention to fight in the UK for the first time following his jaunt to the Middle East.
Mayweather, 45, hasn’t acquired his nickname through irony. Long regarded as one of the richest athletes on the planet, in November last year Sportico released an all-time athlete earnings list, in which he was ranked No 6 of all time, having made more than £1 billion in his career.

And despite no longer fighting on the pro circuit, where he racked up a perfect 50-0 record, he continues to rake in sponsorships and endorsement deals. According to Celebrity Net Worth the all time great is still a worth a mammoth £381 million.
His opponent this weekend isn’t short on cash notes either, having made his millions as a British Vlogger and Gaming Youtuber. Indeed, Deji has over 9.7 million subscribers and over 3.4 billion views on his channel.
Wealthy Gorilla states his net worth is £4.2 million, an impressive amount for an influencer, but pittance to the likes of Mayweather. The American is worth 90 times more than the 25-year-old, who will at least enjoy a weight advantage of 20 lbs over his more esteemed opponent.

The American hasn’t been afraid to throw his money about in Dubai either. Speaking to journalists this week, he boasted of his lavish spending after arriving in the country.
Grinning broadly, he said: “Listen, I just touched down in Dubai. I have been here a few hours and I have already spent $80,000 (£68,0000).”
Last month, Mayweather revealed he was paid £800,000 just for a phone call before agreeing to fight Deji. He will reportedly earn over £10 million from the bout, a figure which will be severely enhanced by the revenue from PPV sales.
