A psychic camel, who ‘never gets anything wrong’, has predicted the Three Lions to beat Iran on Monday lunchtime.
Gareth Southgate’s side open their campaign at the Khalifa International Stadium as they look to win their opening World Cup clash for the second time in 12 years. And Camilla, a camel, has predicted England to win without any hesitation.
Camilla is from Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, and her estate agent owners Jenny and Vernon Moore, both 52, joked she’s “never wrong”. Southgate’s side will certainly be hoping Iran get the hump when the two sides clash on Monday.

Vernon told The Sun: “It’s the best possible omen for Gareth and the boys. Getting past the group stage is in the bag.
“We asked her to choose between our and our opponents’ flags placed on easels a few yards in front of her and she marched straight up to the St George’s cross every time.”
While Jenny added: “Camilla is very strong-willed and always seems to know when it’s food time so we have absolute faith in her ability to predict World Cup results.”

Ecuador outclassed the hosts as they raced into a 2-0 lead – with West Ham flop Enner Valencia helping himself to both strikes.
