The all-time leading goalscorer of the Ghana national team with 51 goals would have been relieved to see his side win their second game of the tournament in Qatar.

In one of the most thrilling games of the tournament, Ghana edged pasted South Korea despite the momentum being coach Paulo Bento’s side during the dying embers of the match.

At Education City Stadium in Qatar, the African side put themselves 2-0 up via Mohammed Salisu and Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus.

But then South Koreans bounced back in the second-half – with Cho Gue-sung bagging himself a brace.

However, it was Ghana who earned themselves the win – Kudus got his second of the game to seal the victory.

The result puts South Korea bottom of Group H, with a point to their name, while Ghana land in second place, just behind Portugal.
