Zara Tindall leaves VIP shopping experience at appointment-only boutique in Adelaide loaded with armfuls of garment bags during trip to Australia with husband Mike

Zara Tindall was enjoying some retail therapy during her trip Down Under on Friday. 

The British equestrian indulged in a VIP shopping experience at an exclusive boutique in Adelaide, South Australia, leaving with armfuls of sartorial acquisitions. 

The 41-year-old booked in a session at the Sally Phillips designer clothing boutique, which is accessible by appointment only.

The daughter of Princess Anne was clearly impressed by the offerings within, as she left with several garment bags, as well as paper bags loaded with goods. 

Zara looked fresh-faced for the outing, and appeared to be wearing minimal makeup. 

She wore her blonde locks pulled off her face, and skipped the accessories but for a number of rings.

Despite her impressive lineage, Zara looked like any other local shopper, donning a simple white T-shirt. 

She paired it with casual blue skinny jeans and white sneakers, as well as a crossbody bag.

Once she had finished her shopping spree, Zara was assisted by several minders who helped her load her car with her newly purchased outfits.

The Sally Phillips label is very exclusive indeed, with the website explaining that the collection is ‘shown privately by appointment only’ to ‘a private clientele base.’

‘The collection is available for viewing with the designer and her team of stylists upon its seasonal release,’ the site explains. 

Despite the exclusivity, the designer’s clothing isn’t too eye-watering in price.

He couldn’t help but plug the swimming trunks during an awkward interview with his wife Zara on Australia’s breakfast show Sunrise on Friday. 

The former former rugby union star said he was going to slip into the revealing briefs during his current trip to South Australia, where the couple are attending the Adelaide 500 motor racing event.

When asked by Sunrise’s Mark Beretta what the couple are going to get up to during their stay, Zara said they were hoping to enjoy some wine tasting before Mike chirped in and said ‘we’re gonna get the Budgy Smugglers out today’ leading to laughs from the trio.

Mike launched his own line of the tight swimming trunks after his appearance on I’m A Celebrity UK.

During his stint in the jungle, he was accused of wearing his wife’s bikini bottoms while taking a dip at the creek.

His new range comes with cheeky slogans including ‘nibble my nuts’ and ‘Vanilla Mike’ with all proceeds donated to charity.

Mike shared a snap of the limited edition range on his Twitter page on Tuesday after he revealed his team had been working on them while he was in camp. 

They are being sold for $63 (£35) per pair and profits go directly to Cure Parkinson’s to help power their research in finding a cure for the disease.

‘We only got in yesterday, so not explored yet’ Mike said.

‘Rugby tours didn’t come down here before. They got the Wallabies here last year.

‘It’s a great wine region, so I’m sure we’ll be sampling lots.’

‘Early January is bleak over here [in their home of Gloucestershire in England] so it’s nice to be able to go and have a bit of sun,’ she said.

‘I love the lifestyle of Australia and the ability to get up early, go on the beach – especially for the kids,’ Mike additionally told the magazine.

The pair have been married since 2011 and have three children – Mia Grace Tindall, Lucas Tindall and Lena Elizabeth Tindall.

The couple, who aren’t working royals and don’t hold titles, keep a relatively low profile despite their status as professional sports people at the top of their relative fields
