England fans were in stitches after spotting ‘Steve McClaren’ in the stands during the Three Lions’ last-16 clash against Senegal holding a World Cup trophy.
The Three Lions romped to a comfortable 3-0 win over Senegal in the last-16 clash courtesy of goals from Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane, and Bukayo Saka. Henderson combined with Jude Bellingham to score the opener, and their celebration convinced fans that the Borussia Dortmund ace is on his way to Liverpool.
And the Three Lions cruised to victory over the African Nation Cup winners without the help of Raheem Sterling who left the squad to deal with personal matters at home. It was later revealed that Sterling jetted back to England after ‘thugs smashed up his home.’

But while the match was taking place, fans noticed a supporter who bore a striking resemblance to ex-England boss McClaren, holding a fake World Cup. And the sight of McClaren’s double hoisting the trophy left users in hysterics on social media.
One fan mused: “Steve McClaren’s looking well!”. While a second quipped: “Looks like he’s wearing a terrible Steve McClaren mask.”
And a third chimed in: “Steve McLaren, that you mate? #ENGSEN.” Before a fourth user couldn’t resist from adding: “Good of Steve McClaren to be out there supporting the boys.”

France will present a tougher challenge than Senegal did for England. But the Three Lions have been given a huge boost by magician Uri Geller who predicts England will lift the World Cup in the next decade.
