Tyson Fury has called for the “juggernaut” Joe Joyce to fight Deontay Wilder while he is occupied with a heavyweight unification bout against Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury made light work of beating Derek Chisora for a third time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night with Ukrainian rival Usyk in attendance to watch the 10th round stoppage. WBC world title hold Fury is set to face IBF, WBO and IBO holder Usyk as the pair bid to unify the heavyweight division.
Fury also wants to fight 37-year-old unbeaten British heavyweight Joyce this year at Wembley. First he would like to see how Wilder fairs against his fellow Brit.

“I don’t think there’s anyone in the world who can take Deontay Wilder’s power,” said Fury who has knocked out Wilder twice previously.
“Joyce is a juggernaut. That’s a fight I’d love to see. If I fight Usyk, maybe Joyce can fight Wilder. Who here wouldn’t want to see that? Who wouldn’t want to see the world’s toughest man take on the world’s biggest puncher? That would be fantastic.”
After negotiations between Anthony Joshua and Fury broke down earlier this year AJ seems out of the picture as Usyk and Joyce are the Gypsy King’s preferred opponents for 2023.
The Ukrainian beat AJ twice by decision with seven of his 20 victories coming from the judge’s score cards. Meanwhile, Joyce has a record of 15-0 with 14 of his victories coming by way of knockout.
“In 2023 we’re going to get those big fights that the fans really crave,” added Fury.
“I’m ready and willing to take on Usyk next whether that’s in Saudi Arabia or here in the UK. Let’s give the fans one champion, one name and one face. I’ll do him and then I’ll have Joe Joyce as well at Wembley.

Fury increased his unbeaten record to 33-0 on Saturday night but fears that the powerful hitting Joyce could be the tougher of his opponents next year.
“In my opinion, Usyk is the slicker boxer, but Joe Joyce is The Juggernaut, and I think that Joe gives me a tougher fight than Usyk, 100 per cent,” Fury added.
“Big Joe, 6’7 and 19 and a half stone like a juggernaut coming forward at me. Trying to smash me to pieces. Or Usyk tying to steal a jab running round the ring. Trying to make a point here and there.
“So, I think that Usyk’s a very good fighter. I’m not going to take anything away from him. He’s the undisputed cruiserweight champion and he’s the unified heavyweight champion, so he’s had a fantastic career.
“But I think that I do a job on him. I don’t just want to talk it, I want to prove it, so let’s get that one on.”
