A billionaire gypsy has revealed how he went from being homeless and sleeping in his car to splurging his fortune on a multi-million-pound toy.
Alfie Best has purchased a £9 million superyacht – complete with a human jet pack which allows him to hover across the ocean.
The 52-year-old says he bought the 90-foot yacht and will use it to visit the hotspots of the Mediterranean. The yacht will cost an eye-watering £80,000 a week to charter.

The entrepreneur also owns a fleet of supercars, a £4.2 million Airbus helicopter, and a £4 million house in the heart of London.
Dad of two Alfie now owns around 100 residential and holiday parks but at one point he was sleeping in his car and struggling to make ends meet.
His new toy is a vessel named ‘Wyldecrest,’ it is an exclusive Sunseeker 90 Ocean and boasts a watersports speedboat tender and a jet ski.
The yacht has room to board up to eight guests, plus a lounge and swim platform at water level 0 and a water-driven jetpack.
Alfie is number 232 in this year’s Sunday Times Rich List.
He told The Sun: “I’ve flown my own plane and have my own helicopter and they were phenomenal experiences.
“But having a yacht is 10 times better. We really have gone the extra mile with this yacht. I’ve set it up with brand-new jet skis, brand-new Seabobs [water scooters], a water jet pack, an inflatable pool and an extendable platform.
“I’ll enjoy all the onboard perks, but particularly the jet pack. That’s a whole new experience even for me – maybe a trip in space is next on my list.”
Alfie is a Romany Gypsy and was born in a caravan in Leicestershire. To this day he says his father is his idol.
He says his father worked seven days a week, doing manual jobs, a worth ethic Alfie says he has inherited.
Though he puts his success down to “a certain amount of luck,” as well as “hard work, sheer grit, blood, blisters and tears”.
