Man Utd fans beg West Ham to buy flop Aaron Wan-Bissaka as Hammers consider loan

Manchester United fans have begged West Ham to buy flop Aaron Wan-Bissaka after reports the Hammers are considering a loan swoop on the defender.

Wan-Bissaka’s become surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, and he’s only seen four minutes of action this season. The Red Devils told the right-back he could leave on a free transfer at the end of last season, but although the Hammers showed interest, no concrete offers came in for the 25-year-old.

But David Moyes’ side are planning to rescue Wan-Bissaka from his United hell by taking him on loan in January, Manchester Evening News reported. Any deal between the Hammers and Wan-Bissaka should go smoothly as they’ve got a good relationship with his representatives Unique Sports Management.

The Management group also represents West Ham stars Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell. A switch to the London Stadium could be the perfect move for Wan-Bissaka to get his career back on track.

The defender was a revelation at Crystal Palace where he was named Player of the Season in the 2018/19 campaign before heading to United. But he’s been unable to replicate the same form at Old Trafford, and some of the club’s fans can’t wait to see the back of him.

After news of West Ham’s interest broke, one fan wrote on Twitter: “Awb needs football, but a permanent move would be better for him. If he can get a loan now and permanent move in the summer that would be okay.”

A second user pleaded: “Not on loan please. Full transfer is the best for him and UTD.” And a third fan groaned: “Loan? No. they should just buy him.”

But the despair didn’t end there and another fan cried: “loan ffs.” Wan-Bissaka’s looming exit comes as United seek to usher in a new dawn at the club spearheaded by a £200million transfer swoop on Jude Bellingham and Frenkie de Jong.
