Tensions between Prince William and Prince Harry are said to be rising following the release of Netflix’s Harry & Meghan where the couple were candid about their treatment within the Royal Family.
The docuseries aired earlier this month, and a source said the popular release has been a “thorn” in William’s side.
The insider said: “He’s disappointed with Harry for portraying him and the [royal] family in a cynical light.”

“William was hoping they could move on after the CBS interview [in March 2021], but Harry airing his dirty laundry has only heightened the conflict between the two brothers and resulted in them taking a step backwards.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spoke on a variety of topics in the six episodes, including their reasons for stepping down from royal duties in 2020.

In episode 5, the Duke of Sussex spoke about the discussion he had with William and father King Charles III about what he and Meghan had planned for their future.
“[I] went in with the same proposal that we’d already made publicly [about stepping down as senior working members]. But once I got there, I was given five options.
“One being all in, no change. Five being all out. I chose option three in the meeting. Half in, half out.”

He continued: “It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father say things that just simply weren’t true, and my grandmother quietly sit there, and sort of take it all in.”
The father-of-two author admitted that “the saddest part” of his exit from the Royal Family “was this wedge created between myself and my brother,” and claimed that his older brother that William is “on the institution’s side”, since he is the heir to the throne.
