The parents of Elle Edwards have paid tribute to their daughter, who was tragically shot and killed in a Christmas Eve pub shooting.
Elle’s parents paid tribute to their “beautiful” daughter, who was killed during a pub shooting where she attended a Liverpool-based establishment with her sister and friends.
The 26-year-old beautician is believed to have been shot in the head and was later pronounced dead, while another man is fighting for his life in hospital.

Elle’s parents have since shared a moving tribute to their late daughter, who was killed by a gunman at the Lighthouse Inn, Wallasey, with an unknown assailant opening fire at 11:50pm before fleeing the scene.

Attaching a card to a bouquet of flowers left at the scene of the crime, Elle’s parents wrote: “Special Daughter. The happiness you brought in your own special way, will be remembered with love each and every day.”
Another tribute from the parents read: “To my beautiful Elle. You are the light of my life, you will never be gone, mum, dad xxxxxx.”
The family are said to have been left “devastated and inconsolable” by the horror shooting, with two women believed to have rushed to aide Elle following the shooting.
A flood of tributes to Elle have since been seen, with colleagues, friends and family all paying their respects.

Colleague Britt Hughes wrote: “Rest in perfect peace my beautiful els bels I can’t physically cope with this but your life will forever leave a imprint on mine.”
Police have since stated that Elle was not believed to have been a target in the shooting, The Sun reported.
A statement from DS Coombes said: “It’s very early stages of the investigation, but we do not believe that the victim in this case has been targeted.”
Wallasey MP Dame Angela Eagle agreed that Elle had not been targeted, saying to BBC: “We know that for many years there’s been a serious and organised crime issue with firearms involved over the river (in Liverpool).
“It’s really, really important, if you have any information that might lead to the conviction of someone who has been so reckless, please come forward and tell the police what you know.”
